Amazing staff they were so friendly and helpful, the ambiance in there was just amazing, and the food was just delicious.
After a year hiatus we ordered again. I did it through the DoorDash app because I had DoorDash bucks left that I wanted to use up. We ordered an everyday special which is a large pizza, 12 wings and a cheesesteak. I upcharged to get 1/2 sausage on the pizza and got honey bbq sauce on the wings. This review is just for the pizza and the wings because we were full and never ate the cheesesteak, it's leftover for tonight. The pizza personally to me is just run of the mill pizza but my bf and son love it so... I just ate a few wings which were nice and crispy and loaded with sauce which I love. Also doesn't sound like much but the celery was nice and fresh and I always love the celery. Probably won't keep me coming back from my regular pizza shop for pizza but the family special for $27 bucks is worth it, $30 if you get 1/2 toppings. I also want to mention that Drougie's menu is extensive, so they have just about everything.
We got the cheesesteak on garlic bread. It was very good garlic bread. It had a good amount of finely chopped meat. The cheese added flavor to the Cheesesteak but it needed a more thorough melt. $8.10 after tax, take out only and home to the 28' Pizza. It was a good Cheesesteak experience.
Just happened to be in this part of the city when my stomach was growling. It was a pleasant surprise to see that the pizza special still existed and even though it's more expensive it's still a great price. You get two slices and a can soda for $4.95. The pizza is fresh, flavorful and well seasoned. Thanks Drougie's for remaining consistent and serving quality pizza for a fair price!!!!
